Last Friday we took a ride up to CT to see Michael and Stefan (their moms too) and Ava got to have a well deserved play date! It is amazing how big the kids are... I'm trying to find a pic from our first play date!

On the mornings that I am home with Ava, this has become a usual routine to play in the only cabinet she can get in to. She loves to bang the bowls and I think she has found a new hiding spot.

Happy New Year! 2009 is finally here and what a great year 2008 was. Ava is going to be 19 months on Monday and Jon and I can't believe how the time is flying by! We look back at the last year and can't believe all of the things that she has accomplished. Exactly one year ago, she was just starting to crawl and now we can't keep up with her. She is talking up a storm and learning sign language (the few words she already knows are "more" "thank you" and "all done") She still needs a little help from Jon and I but we can already tell what an independent little girl she is going to be.

We hope that everyone has a great 2009 and we are looking forward to sharing it with all of you!
