although we didn't get as much snow as we thought, there was still enough for Ava and Jon to get out and play. Ava loved running and falling in the snow and then needing daddy to help her up.

our first snow of the season
last weekend
Last weekend we started getting the house ready for the holidays. Jon and Ava picked out the tree-- and what a perfect one it is! We got it up, lights on, and decorated! Jon and Ava also built our first gingerbread house! Ava enjoyed eating it as it was being built!
Lots of festivities going on here as we get ready for the holidays and our new arrival in the new year!

Annual Firetruck Parade
The Saturday after Thanksgiving is the Annual Firetruck parade where firetrucks come from all over the state decorated for Christmas. It was cold and noisy, but always a good time!
